Reputation points (RP) are personal points that represent the non tangible resources available to your character. As characters gain reputation points, they can save them to spend as they see fit. Reputation is not a lootable item. Reputation is earned by the player, and is not specific to any one character. Once it is spent on a character however, If that character is permanently killed, any reputation spent or earned with that character is forever lost. Reputation can be gained in multiple ways.
As players complete basic functions of the game, by integrating roleplay into those actions, they can gain reputation as a reward. Many of the abilities in the Afterworlds LARP are designed for the competitive nature of the combat system. By slowing down and adding a few minutes of roleplay while using these abilities, the thematic presence of the world is increased, and the player is rewarded with reputation points. Here are some examples of ways players earn RP through added RP:
Volunteering for Z-camp, game ops and many other positions will award players with RP.
GM’s will be able to grant players RP as they deem fit. Some examples of GM awarded RP:
