Help Save Our Events!

Our Community Space Needs Your Help to Stay Alive

For years, our family property has been a gathering place. Hosting live-action roleplay games, festivals, BBQs, and unforgettable memories with our amazing community. But now, due to a change in how our land is being classified by the county, we’re facing a serious challenge that could put all of that at risk.

The Problem

The county recently informed us that any event using our land is now considered a "temporary campground."

That means:

These rules make it impossible to continue hosting community events the way we always have.

The Solution

The good news? There is a path forward.

We can apply to have part of the land officially declared a Private Campground. This status would let us:

  • Host as many events as we want
  • Skip repetitive inspections and permits
  • Get back to doing what we love, together
  • The planner we’re working with is supportive and willing to fast-track our application, but the application and fees total $4,500.

    How You Can Help

We’re reaching out to our community, to all those who’ve built, attended, and cherished these events to help us clear this hurdle.
